We are sad that Daren McGrath has decided to leave Tiptree Patisserie; one interesting memory is the response from customers in Japan as they watched him demonstrated the art of making English scones for a very special British cream tea.

Daren said:

“After more than three decades of leadership across hospitality and food manufacturing, and over 16 years as Director of Tiptree Patisserie, I've made the decision to step away from bakery life and embrace a new chapter.

“It's been an extraordinary journey growing the business and navigating the challenges of transformation and Covid recovery. I'm proud of the teams I've worked with, the brands we've built, and the resilience we have shown - especially through the pandemic and beyond.

I leave with immense gratitude for the opportunities I've had, the colleagues I've worked with alongside, and the values that have guided me throughout. The next chapter may be different - but it will be no less purposeful.

The whole team at Tiptree Patisserie are really grateful to Daren for his leadership over the years and we wish him all the very best for his new endeavours.
